Key duties and responsibilities include:• Support and participation in the monthly close presentations• Support and participation in the LE presentations• Routine and ad-hoc analysis and reporting on expenses and headcount• Operational excellence tracking reports and support data gathering• Owner - Occupancy allocation process for non-manufacturing sites• Planning and reporting for the Manufacturing Administration cost centers• Owner - Administration of TM1 software for finance users• Support for the overall consolidation process (templates, calendars, updates to planners)• Routine interactions will include site and functional planners, client management (Mfg Admin cost centers), Operations FP&A management• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administrationo Preferred: CPA or equivalent a plus• Requires 3+ years experience in financial planning and analysis• Strong written and oral communication skills with an emphasis on the ability to organize large volumes of information and communicate findings concisely in a professional manner to peers and senior management• Works effectively as a team member and a team leader• High self-motivation with ability to manage multiple deliverables against reporting deadlines• Solid understanding of consolidation reporting, budgeting and financial applications (with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint)o Preferred: Knowledge of SAP and TM1 systems; understanding of Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry Amgen is the leading human therapeutics company in the biotechnology industry.
