Senior Accounts Receivable Opening

We are currently seeking an exceptional individual to join a dynamic accounting team in the function of Accounts Receivable.  Stable and growing company that is well positioned for growth offers room for internal advancement.  This position will work closely with the Controller and CFO.

 

Responsibilities will include:Handle accounts receivable Manage customer account information and automated communications to customers Collect past due amounts from customers using a progressive correspondence, subtle phone demeanor and professional attitude Coordinate with the Sales Department to manage customer’s expectations Management of aging reports Implementation of Lockbox system Recording and applying customer payments and posting deposits Provide exceptional customer service via telephone and email to clientele Evaluate DSO of accounts Process charge backs Assume responsibilities of treasury management and manage electronic banking Prepare and initiate wire transfers Manage debt terms and bank requirements

 

Required experience:5+ years in an Accounts Receivable role Experience working within the telecom industry (must be familiar with basic telecom/data center terminology and acronyms) Experience utilizing the Lockbox function preferred Experience with treasury management and electronic banking is desired Supervisory experience preferred, but not required Highly customer focused with exceptional “service” skills Self starter who can work both independently and on a team Detail oriented and results driven Some formal accounting education is preferred
