Senior Accountant for Top US Corp located in South East PA

In their South Eastern PA location they are in need of a Senior Accountant for their most highly recognized division. This position calls for one of the top accounting professional who can come in, learn the role, and develop on a fast track. The details of the role are as follows: Assist in the monthly close process, prepare account recs, and prepare monthly reporting packages Various reporting responsibilities including preparing current vs actual for sr management and financial reporting leaders Assist in implementing changes in GAAP Assist in special projects as needed and act as a liaison between accounting and various department internally.Qualifications: BS in Accounting CPA and/or MBA 2+ yrs experience working for a Big 4 public accounting firm or for a Tier II firm with public client exposure Technical accounting experience and internal controls acumen Great communication skills with he ability to work with all levels of management Built on more than 30 years of expertise, The Mergis Group is a specialty recruiting firm committed to helping professionals make the best career choices.
