Senior Accountant-SEC Reporting

Our client, a solid Fortune 500 company, is seeking to fill an SEC Financial Reporting Analyst position. In this role, you will work closely with senior management to ensure proper accounting and financial reporting of complex issues and transactions, as well as participate in the SEC financial reporting process. Responsibilities include:

1) Assist with the quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements (Form 10-K and 10-Q, Annual Report, Notes to Financial Statements and supporting schedules).

2) Interact with Business Units, Investor Relations, External Auditors and Financial Planning & Analysis relating to the sharing and requests for financial information.

3) Identify process improvement opportunities; assist with implementation of approved changes.

4) Research and evaluate technical accounting issues and the related impact to the company's financial statements.

5) Perform special accounting projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

1) Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA a strong plus.

2) 2-7 years of public accounting or a mix of public accounting and industry experience.

3) Ability to research, understand and communicate accounting issues

4) Top performer with excellent communication skills
