CITY/STATE: Washington, DC 20036POSITION TYPE: Full Time, EmployeeJOB CATEGORY: Accounting/Finance/InsuranceSALARY: 65,000.00 - 80,000.00 USD /year Senior Accountant - CPA/CPA Candidate     Ledgent is assisting an international Law Firm with their recruitment for a Senior Accountant.  This role will report to the Controller and will have some management duties.  CPA's or CPA Candidates are highly preferred. Job Description Prepare month end close, reconciliations, journal entries and adjustments Maintain cash flow and produce cash flow reports Prepare monthly reporting for billing and collections status Assist with operational and financial audits Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts Research and correct account discrepancies Financial report analysis Oversee one accounting team member Requirements Qualified candidates should have 2-3 years experience in an accounting environment, like independent work, possess an attention to detail and have excellent communication skills.
