As a staff accountant for Tull, Forsberg & Olson, PLC, you will be an important member of the team that maintains relationship with clients; identifies client requirements; maintains workflow, quality service, and client confidence; completes audits; suggests control improvements.
Qualifications
Skilled at completing audits, reviews and compilations of accounting records, internal control systems, and related procedures for accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures.
Skilled in working with corporate finance and accounting systems, analyzing information, and recommending adjustments.
Familiarity with the applicable Statement of Financial Accounting Standards (SFAS) rules for this industry.
BS or equivalent experience.
CPA / CPA Candidate
Competently analyzes and prioritizes information to make appropriate recommendations.
Synthesizes all forms of research into clear, thoughtful, actionable deliverables
Experience communicating regular status to clients, superiors, and peers.
Listens attentively and actively.
Presents information effectively and persuasively across communication settings.
Speaks clearly and effectively in a variety of settings.
Writes effectively using various styles to address different needs and audiences.
PC proficient in Windows environment. Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, and Web-enabled applications.
Is attentive to the needs of customers. Responds quickly and competently to customer requests.
Skilled at tracking, analyzing information needed to accomplish financial objectives, and recommending appropriate adjustments.
Basic experience using Excel, Quickbooks, Lacert or other applicable accounting and financial software to record or analyze financial information.
Skilled at preparing and reviewing tax forms, understanding of different types of taxation.
