The BearingPoint Business System Integration Practice is looking for SOA consultant is interested to be involved across all aspect of enterprise architecture and CIO advisory. We are seeking a candidate with the following set of capabilities:Performance Profile:-Contribute as a thought leader around SOA practices such as ESB, SOA Governance, SOA design and analysis to the possible clients.-Research the latest trends in the SOA space including SOA Governance, SOA assessment, Center of Excellence (CoE), SOA Design with potential and existing clients.-Perform project management responsibilities including planning, execution, monitoring and closing for small and mid size engagement.-Work with the technical resources to discuss/ validate organization's technical reference model.-Define the SOA architectural model-Recommend the client with the direction and strategy for SOA transformation effort.Position-specific Required Skills:-3 plus years experience with government managers and senior government executives-3 plus years of Consulting experience in an IT strategy/enterprise architecture focused consultancy role3 plus years of Software Architecture Development and Engineering, and one or more of the following: Component Based / Service Oriented Architecture Development and Engineering (i.e. J2EE, .NET)-3 plus years experience in Integration practices around Point-to-Point, Integration broker, Database replication, and Service Oriented Architecture-3 plus years of experience with Integration broker technology such as Tibco, BEA, Sun Microsystems, webMethods, or IBM -US Citizenship-BS degree-No Relocation-Washington DC AreaPosition-specific Desired Skills:-3-7 years of experience in the Integration and IT efforts. -Interested in becoming more of strategic consultant.-Ability to operate in a challenging and fast paced environment, assimilating large amounts of information quickly, and crafting solutions with a minimal amount of oversight-Excellent oral and written communication skillsBearingPoint is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, religion, color, gender, sexual orientation, age, non-disqualifying physical or mental disability or any other basis covered by law.
