SENIOR SOX COMPLIANCE ANALYST

LARGE WELL KNOWN COMPANY IN NORTHERN VA, IS SEARCHING FOR A TOP NOTCH "SOX" COMPLIANCE ANALYST.DUTIES:Work with various functional departments and external consultants to develop, update and maintain process control matrices and flow charts. Perform business process walkthroughs for select business processes. Assist in identifying key controls. Identify control gaps and work with the various functional departments to implement control improvement plans. Assist in responding to requests and issues raised by the internal and external auditors. Develop and manage repository for control documentation. Manage the process of obtaining quarterly certifications. Provide support and guidance on SOX requirements to the process owners. Act as a key team member to access internal processes of newly acquired or target companies and support the integration of newly acquired companies into existing company financial processes. REQUIREMENTS: External audit, Big 4 and/or internal audit experience. CPA, CIA, MBA are a plus. Progressive business/audit experience including specific experience related to Sarbanes Oxley compliance. Working knowledge of internal controls and GAAP. Systems oriented with working knowledge of application controls.
