SEC Reporting Accountant
Job Duties
Assist in preparation of quarterly and yearly external financial reports, including financial statements prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Assist Sr. SEC Reporting Accountant and External Reporting Manager in researching new accounting pronouncements relating to these reports. Help prepare third party financial correspondence including press releases and presentations. Work with Internet Marketing Department to update financial information on the MTGA web site. Perform other related duties as assigned. Promote superior customer service.
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting. Minimum of one year accounting experience working in public or private accounting. Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Thorough understanding of SEC rules and regulations and GAAP.
