Senior Accountant – Rapidly Growing Company
One of San Diego's very high growth companies has asked us to help identify the best of the best. They are looking for two people, both in the general ledger group to join a team of five. The company has been growing and needs to add to the department to keep the culture healthy and not overwork anyone. The company is in the medical device space that has about $500M in revenue. Their revenues have approximately doubled over the last few years and they are expanding their accounting department. The general range is from $60k - $85k. They would be interested in either directly out of public, private only, or a mix of both. The position will report to the accounting manager and will be responsible for month end and quarter close related procedures including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations around the areas of intangible assets, warranty reserves, commission, royalty calculation and accruals. The position will offer some SEC support as well as ad hoc projects as the company continues to grow. They like dynamic and engaging personalities, excellent communication skills, and bright. The GL group handles the entire balance sheet, including equity, international accounting, purchase accounting, and some internal management reporting and MD&A support.
