Processing Associate - Part Time

As a Processing Associate you will:
- Develop working knowledge of Vanguard's processing systems and of all departmental policies and procedures for processing.
- Establish new accounts, process transactions from existing clients, and handle exception items such as outcalls, mailgrams and letters.
- Use AWD and EnCorr systems to review transactions for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to all internal and external regulations.
- Work with tenured Associates to ensure timely completion of all client requests, minimize rework, and maintain department standards for quality and productivity.
- Clarify incomplete or invalid paperwork with clients in accordance with Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Vanguard client-contact policies.
- Participate in ongoing Core Operations discussions of client needs and solutions.
- Partner with tenured Core Operations Associates on complex processing issues.

Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- One year of related business experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and PCs.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a high-volume situation within deadlines.
- Strong problem-resolution and time-management skills.
- Demonstrated client focus and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated communication skills.
- Ability to work occasional overtime within a part-time schedule.
