Payroll Specialist II

Ensures that all accounting and auxiliary system requirements are met (e.g. W-2's, tax filing, banking requirements, benefits, stock, and pension record keeping). Performs quarter-end and year-end audits. Responsible for managing the Enterprise Payroll systems cycle process.Essential Responsibilities• Payroll processing, reconciliation, audit, & related processes for ADP clients• Work on special projects assigned and deliver to plan – year-end, quarter-end, annual enrollment etc. • Trouble Shooting, Intermediate Analysis & Research related to payroll processing.• Perform basic analysis & research related to payroll processing.• Operate against ADP’s standard operating procedures & processes to meet client requirements & Service Level Agreements (SLAs).• Accountability, compliance & adherence to complete payroll accuracy, ADP policies, data confidentiality• Operate against timelines and schedules assigned by the Payroll Supervisor or Team Leader• Builds relationships of trust, respect and partnership with client contacts by providing World Class Service• Identify areas of client dissatisfaction and escalate to Team Lead, Payroll Supervisor or Manager.• Maintain high-level awareness of SLAs and executes to meet their requirement.• Develops and maintains awareness of SAS70 and accountable for compliance at each task performed.• Support the training and mentoring of Payroll Specialists’ on job requirements, product functionality and service delivery techniques.

Qualifications:
Education/Experience• High school diploma is required. Associate degree in Business Admin or Accounting strongly preferred.• 2-5 years of multi-corporation, multi state payroll or equivalent in the areas of -Customer Service, Other ADP BU, Payroll, Human Resources, Benefits Administration, Financial Institution, Application Support or other relevant work experience.• Past performance Appraisals rated above average.• Working knowledge of payroll processing, tax principles, wage and hour laws is preferred.• Proven Customer Service Skills• Excellent organizational and time management skills• Good verbal and written communication skills.ADP is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer; M/F/D/V.
