Payment Processor

Enhanced Recovery Corporation is a Jacksonville, Florida based third party debt collection agency and has a payment processing position opening. This is a great opportunity for an experienced, highly qualified individual to come into our company and help fulfill the needs and vision we have for the payment processing department.Duties: Receive daily payments from mail, western unions, and web payments. Accurately process payments on accounts. Balance each batch before submitting for posting. Authorize and process credit card payments. Prepare daily deposits for the bank. Contact banks for funds verification. Processing of NSF’s (Non Sufficient Funds).  Job Requirements: Associate Degree in Business or related field is preferred (not required). Requires a minimum of 2 years cash application experience. Above average mathematical, analytical, and 10 Key skills. Position requires initiative, a high degree of accuracy, discretion, personal judgment, confidentiality, and excellent telephone etiquette, organizational and planning skills. Previous accounts receivable processing experience is preferred. Proficient computer skills in the use of Microsoft Excel. Experienced in resolving complex issues and developing solutions acceptable to both management and the client. Capable of exceeding goals with minimal supervision and good business sense are a key to success in this role.  Personal Traits: High energy level, strong work ethics, able to be effective in an entrepreneurial, fast paced, ever changing environment. Extremely bright, high level of intelligence, integrity, and communication skills, both verbal and written. Must have demonstrated the ability to effectively interact with all levels of personnel within the organization.
