The Assistant Secretary of the Army For Financial Management and Comptroller (ASA FM&C) is hiring civilians in the Washington DC metro area!!!!
Join the Army’s Civilian Costing Community. Develop cost estimates, analyses, and metrics to support Department of Army Headquarters decisions on personnel, installations, operations, weapons systems and information systems to enhance the Army’s cost culture. The Army has multiple civilian positions available for entry, mid-level and senior level cost analysts Position Summary: Apply operations research (cost management and analysis) techniques to estimate costs for Army programs and mission areas. Develop cost estimates, lifecycle cost analysis and economic analysis and metrics related to weapons systems, personnel, communications systems, installations, operations, force structure and more. Develop policies, methods and models to support Army cost management programs and information systems.
Required Skills: Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with 24 semester hours of quantitative based courses including 3 semester hours of Calculus. Senior level analysts require experience and subject matter expertise. Mid-level staff analysts require experience, knowledge, skills and abilities relevant to the performance of Army analyses, primarily cost analysis. Entry/Support level analysts must have the required quantitative background. The ideal candidate will be proficient with Microsoft software packages and knowledge of costing/statistical software application packages is desirable. Must have good communication skills and work with minimal supervision. Salary level will be based on qualifications and work history.
Salary Ranges (including locality pay): Senior Level: $98,033 to $127,442 Staff Level: $82,961 to $107,854
Entry/Support Level: $39,330 to $90,698 Reimbursement for relocation expenses may be available
