Responsibilities
• Test Case Design Write Test Cases to cover all paths - Happy path, negative path, Alternate paths & Exception paths
• Requirements understanding and traceability creation
• Perform hands on test execution, report anomalies, and track defects/Bugs if any
• Verify implemented fixes using regression testing
• Defect Management inclusive of tracking the defect/bug throughout the defect lifecycle
• Participation in Scrum Stand up meetings
• Participation in Defect Triage Meetings
• Assist the Testing Lead to report progress

Skill Sets
• Good knowledge of types of testing like Regression, System , Integration
• For Automation QA resources: Knowledge on test automation tools
• Good knowledge of Bug tracking tools eg: Clear Quest, Quality center etc.
• Knows to write and execute Database queries to validate results
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• QTP skill-set for Automation QA Tester role
