NOW HIRING!! STAFF ACCOUNTANT
RESPONSIBILITIES included but not limited to:
* Responsible for general accounting for various 12/31 entities, and various accounting and reconciliation duties for all entities.
* Monthly journal entries, reconciliations and financial reporting.
* Assist with preparation and management of various union, OCIP, and tax audits.
* Assist with quarterly reporting requirements, payroll tax returns, etc.
* General ledger accounting
* Prepare financial analysis and reports
* Assist with department's record retention program.
* Maintain and/or improve the organization's accounting principles, practices, procedures and initiatives
* Strengthen internal control functions while simplifying and speeding up processes
* Payroll tax deposits and tax return preparation/reporting.
* Daily consolidated cash position tracking and reporting.
* Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Must have strong track record of personal/technical growth in the finance and accounting areas.
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Must be detail and independently
* Must have a strong systems knowledge, including integrated accounting systems
* Must have a positive attitude
* Must have experience in construction industry
* Must be proficiency with word and excel
* Must have 2-4 years experience
SALARY:
* $60,000-72,000/year DOE
