Manager of Servicer & Operational Analytics

Focus Technology Consulting is seeking a Manager for Servicer and Operations Analytics to support a large Financial Services company located in Arlington, VA.  Responsibilities will entail:

 Overall management of the credit business intelligence with comprehensive servicer and operations analytics for credit risk mitigation & operational excellenceManagement, review and control of i) the servicer and loan data at system of record, ii) operations data for operational performanceEstablish metrics and analyze servicers' data/information to optimize servicer performance & company’s loan portfolio and its relative impact to credit losses and REO inflows.Establish metrics and analyze special servicers/vendors' data/information to manage performance level and optimization of non-performing loan flow, credit loss and recovery.Establish metrics and analyze credit operations data to optimize loss recovery and maximizing operations throughput.Identify issues, present analytical findings and formulate & propose solutions/actions in conjunction with peers to mitigate risk and improve operational excellence.Review/audit routine data from servicers and operations to ensure accuracy and completeness.  Perform routine reconciliation and audit of loan data to ensure loan data integrity, auditability and complianceFunction as the system of record administrator and central clearinghouse to manage & control loan data changes on systems of record for servicer & loan data through auditable approvals and updates.Collaborate with peer groups and/or service providers/vendors to effectively plan, communicate, organize and execute business objectives.Recruit, motivate and develop a superior team.  Implement a management system that encourages creativity, drives organizational performance, and develops and rewards key performers.

 

Minimum Professional and Technical Skills:

 Bachelor's degree Statistics, Finance, MIS or related field or equivalent experience; Masters preferred 8-12 years progressive analytical, operations or process management experience in the financial services industry; Strong project management, planning, organizational and follow up skills; Ability to multi-task and maintain composure; strong sense of urgency with the ability to execute quickly, timely and efficiently.  4-6 years loan industry experience, especially in mortgages and/or home equity.Strong quantitative analytical ability to perform data analysis/management and a high degree of technical aptitude to leverage systems and data to promote business intelligence; strong conceptual, analytical and business judgment.Strong knowledge of financial services operations, information delivery, change leadership/management, strategic planning, and action planning.Demonstrated collaborative partnership skills with internal and external teamsStrong people management experience in a matrixed environment; Strong coaching, influencing and motivational skills; ability to drive results and foster responsiveness Excellent customer service orientation, business communication, collaboration, interpersonal skills and team orientation.  Strong business acumen and fiscal aptitude; strong organizational vision and strategic leadership. Great attention to details
