The Manager of FP&A is responsible for coordinating and managing the annual budgeting process as well as the ongoing forecasting and analysis of the company’s financial performance.  This position reports directly to the CFO.  The successful candidate will understand and be experienced in a manufacturing company where inventory planning is a critical component of the financial plan.  The successful candidate will also understand the business dynamics of selling through the retail channel, including insight into channel inventory flow, returns analysis and sales compensation structures.  The ability to work closely with marketing staff to forecast demand, and with operations staff to forecast supply, is critical to this position’s success. This position will develop financial models and evaluate business proposals, working closely with senior executive staff and department management across the organization.


Key Responsibilities include:
Manage the budgeting and forecasting activities for the company.Plan and manage the ongoing evaluation of the company’s financial performance preparing monthly and quarterly financial packagesPerform product line and customer contribution analyses.Forecast, analyze and report on revenue.Partner with marketing to monitor and evaluate channel sales and inventory flow.  Evolve new critical metrics and develop informative reports and analyses.Partner with accounting staff to ensure accuracy and integrity of company financials.


Background & Experience:
6 years of experience in planning and analysisMBA and or CPA requiredExperience leading and managing the budgeting process.Expert Excel skillsStrong analytical skills coupled with a solid understanding of business dynamicsDemonstrated experience successfully implementing and enhancing financial planning processes in a growing organization including recent experience implementing software tools to assist in the planning processes.
