We are currently seeking a Forensic Manager to join us in our Mountain View office. KPMG ForensicSM professionals assist organizations in their efforts to achieve the highest level of business integrity through the detection, prevention and investigation of fraud and misconduct. Our Forensic professionals strive to not only help our clients discover the facts underlying concerns about fraud and misconduct, but also assist clients in assessing their vulnerabilities to such activities, and in developing controls and programs to address these risks. Responsibilities: ? Conduct and coordinate large-scale, multi-jurisdictional investigations ? Supervise and manage a professional team with backgrounds ranging from accounting to law enforcement ? Analyze audit procedures and the company's accounting procedures and control environment that deal with an organization's possible exposure to fraudulent financial reporting ? Perform financial statement analysis and develop recommendations ? Summarize, analyze, and prepare analysis reports and findings in a clear, logical, and concise manner ? Interact with and interview clients and other external sources for the purpose of obtaining relevant information and documents ? Evaluate data to help identify weaknesses and associated risks and make recommendations on how to mitigate those risks ? Evaluate the general risk faced by the client in a particular industry and the impact of those risks on an organization Qualifications: ? Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university ? Five years of experience in auditing and accounting, financial investigations, or internal/external audit ? Experience in public accounting, advisory services, or industry ? Advanced understanding in one or more of the following: sophisticated accounting transactions, the U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), corporate filings, or financial statements ? Understanding of the legal and regulatory environment ? Excellent business development skills ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills ?
