Manager, General Accounting (Delray Beach, FL)

 Job Responsibilities: Looking for a high-energy, positive team motivator to lead the general accounting functions of bank reconciliations and cash applications.  Retail experience and CPA preferred. Primary responsibilities include the management and coordination of multiple account reconciliations and month end closes, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and GAAP. Responsible for the management and development of staff.  Special projects and other tasks as assigned. Job Requirements:  Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA strongly preferred.  5-7  years accounting experience, some of which is preferably in a large corporate environment.  Minimum 3 years staff supervision and development.
