MANAGER ACCOUNTING OPERATIONS

LARGE COMPANY IN WASHINGTON, DC, IS SEARCHING FOR A SENIOR MANAGER OF ACCOUNTING OPERATIONS1. Managing all operational aspects of the multi-national, Multi-entity general accounting department, 2. Controlling, reviewing and approval all journal entries related to the scope of control, 3. Developing and implementation accounting policies and procedures, 4. Performing and facilitating quarterly and year end audit under tight timeframes 5. Managing the monthly accounting close process, and managing and supporting a team of professional accountants.6. Managing and reviewing all analytical monthly and quarterly fluctuation analysis as well as account reconciliations 7. Manage all special projects affecting accounting operations including (Offering memorandum, S-1s, purchase accounting, etc.) 8. Work with financial reporting to understand and implement all new accounting pronouncements which impact accounting operations and the treatment of such transactions.
