Lead Financial Analyst
Kaiser Permanente Information Technology (KP-IT), within the Finance Group, is looking for a Business Consulting Lead - Analytics in Pleasanton, CA. This position will act as a high-level subject matter expert on driver based analysis and modeling to internal clients and senior management. This analyst will ensure that major technology decisions can be substantiated with sound financial analysis and guidance. This position will also be responsible for long range financial planning, high-level communications and partnering with C-level clients and business partners. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Support the creation of a driver based forecasting model for understanding KP-IT cost trends. Partner closely with IT leaders and their Finance support teams to understand drivers of their costs and gain their alignment with modeling methodology. Compare unit cost trends with industry benchmarks and identify efficiency opportunities.Create methodology and process to understand Total Cost of Ownership for KP-ITs projects and strategic initiatives. Assist Capacity Planning Group with creating capacity models.Help Senior KP leaders understand KP-IT cost trends and the potential decision points needed to alter those trends. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics or Business Management is required.3 to 5 years of direct experience with Finance.3 to 5 years of direct experience with Driver Based Modeling, Activity Based Costing and/or Financial Modeling. Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.Basic understanding of enterprise level information technology, systems, terminology, and trends.
