Investment Banking Analyst - M&A

Middle market Investment Banking firm located in Los Angeles seeks an analyst to join our growing team.  Candidates will be actively involved in transaction-oriented work for all clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must exhibit a high level of maturity and must have the ability to work directly with clients at the senior level. Candidates must be able to readily assist in the following areas:

 

Duties:

  Create pitches, information memorandum, management presentations and other marketing materials

  Complete detailed industry and potential buyer research 

  Perform valuation analyses including comparable companies analysis, precedent transactions analysis, and discounted cash flows analysis

  Complete detailed market, economic and industry research

 

Furthermore, candidates must posses outstanding interpersonal skills, be highly self-motivated and demonstrate strong problem solving capabilities. Candidates must meet the following criteria:

  Excellent academic background with a BA/BS required

  Exceptional computer skills in MS Office suite

  Proficient in financial statement analysis and company valuation techniques including the ability to create advanced financial forecast models and leveraged buyout models

  Strong analytical and research capabilities with outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail

  Outstanding written and oral communications skills
