Internal Audit Analyst

It's a smart move.Responsibilities:Under general supervision, performs moderately complex activities within the context of audit engagements. The Audit Analyst is expected to identify and evaluate risk, draft audit programs, perform moderately complex audits, identify and communicate issues, provide recommendations for improvement of the control environment, and provide written and oral feedback relative to the engagement. Further, the audit analyst will work with management in developing action plans to ensure risks are effectively mitigated and will develop the ability to work on all phases of the audit process.Requirements:· Demonstrated knowledge and application of auditing techniques and standards· Understanding of operational, financial, regulatory and technology risks and risk mitigation· Demonstrated ability to execute the defined Audit Program. Ability to support test conclusions with clear and appropriately referenced workpaper documentation· Demonstrated ability to identify key risks within business processes and to identify, evaluate and recommend enhancements to internal control processes · Demonstrated knowledge of appropriate technique and ability to accurately and thoroughly document business processes in accordance with established standards including process mapping and flowcharting· Demonstrated interpersonal and negotiation skills· Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate message clearly to the right audience· Ability to offer suggestions to change and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the audit process· Analytical and problem solving skills to identify and facilitate creative resolution of issues· Demonstrated ability to multi-task & work well as part of a team· Ability to effectively deal with a changing work environment · Industry experience in a plus · Flexibility to travel and work hours necessary to meet deadlinesMore information about Fireman's Fund, our privacy policy, and our relationship with Allianz Group can be found at www.firemansfund.jobs An equal opportunity employer.Education: College Diploma / Associates DegreeJob Level: 3-5 years
