We are currently seeking an IT Infrastructure Project Manager for our Administrative Office (headquarters) located in Seattle, WA. The Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for all stages and types of IT initiatives for the firm, from proposal and requirements definition to project planning, execution and implementation. A major part of this position is to provide a proactive interface between the internal customers, technical/programming staff or external resources to ensure effective definition of and delivery of project results. To do so, strong project management, business analyst and technology skills are essential.Responsibilities: Develop and manage definition of deliverables, goals, timeframes, resource planning, milestones and budget as they related to technology projects Proactively manage communications between all parties involved in the development process of a technology project. This can include business units, IT staff, vendors and other parties Serve as the primary point of contact and coordinator for all approved business projects that entail technology/automation components Report to upper management on a weekly base on status of projects with gap reports, risk assessment and overall mitigation tactics as they relate to IT projects Coordinate the design, development and delivery of effective technology applications Ensures projects are executed along a high quality “System Development Lifecycle”, which includes requirement management, testing and documentation among other aspects of the SDLC Unravel, define and document complex business requirements and processes Facilitate design sessions and review sessions with technical and business staffs, including all levels of management Review and assess vendor proposals Manage multiple, parallel projects using formal project planning techniques Direct the activities of on-site and off-site consultants Establish and maintain customer relationships Perform standardized project post mortem meetings, which will benefit the quality of future projects Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Math or Computer Science PMI certified strongly preferred Minimum of 4 years of Project Management experiences in an Information Technology environment, preferably in one of the services industries Minimum 3 years in a business analyst/project management role in a complex business and systems environment preferred Good organizational abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail and accuracy Client service oriented (both internal and external) Creative and persistent problem solver Able to handle confidential material in a reliable manner Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations and confidential information.
