IT Auditor
We are looking for the IT audit professional with Big 4 experience that wants to work for the best. Our client is a very successful and well known company in the area and they are known for their positive environment and inclusive culture. Position Requirements The ideal candidate has the following professional experience and qualifications: • Minimum of three years of IT auditing experience, preferably with a “Big 4” public accounting firm. • Auditing experience with IT general controls, application systems controls, and application systems SDLC projects. • Demonstrated ability to plan, schedule and conduct IT audits and supervise IT auditors. • A broad-based knowledge of computer systems, analysis, and design as well as sound technical knowledge of application planning, design, review and implementation. • A detailed understanding of computer logic, data security and operations. • Knowledge of sophisticated hardware and software and high degree of technical expertise. • A strong background in accounting and control procedures and methods. • Experience with SOX 404 compliance. • Experience with testing PeopleSoft security and application controls. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to function independently. • Ability to interact effectively with operational areas. • Innovative problem-solving skills. • The ability to multitask and work on a variety of audit projects simultaneously. • Experience with ACL software. • Familiarity with the Control Objectives for Information and related Technology (COBIT) guidelines and the ability to adapt those guidelines to the company culture, policies, and procedures.The ideal candidate has the following educational requirements: • Baccalaureate degree in accounting or information systems related field. • CISA or CPA professional certification required.
