Title: IRS Service Team Managing Director  Location: Washington DC Metro Area Job DescriptionThe Washington National Tax Services (WNTS) office of my client is nationally recognized for its in-depth technical knowledge and experience in taxation.WNTS features a multi-disciplined staff, including accountants, attorneys and economists. Their professionals come from a variety of backgrounds, including former government officials (e.g., Treasury Department, IRS and Congressional tax staffs), corporate tax directors, tax professionals from law firms and tax advisors from the firm's practice offices.The WNTS Internal Revenue Service(IRS) team is a national network of tax professionals bringing years of experience in all major IRS functions and includes former executives and managers from examinations, appeals, internationals and IRS Chief Counsel functions. The IRS team is seeking a Managing Director who would be responsible for providing tax and business consulting services to global service organizations, both publicly and privately held. The individual will be responsible for tax planning and structuring for clients in the global services area as well as advising them on international tax ramifications of performing cross-border services. Among the scope of services our clients require include tax minimization planning and consulting, tax compliance services, and business planning services.    Requirements:Undergraduate degree, Admitted to Practice Law or CPA or 5+ years government experience  10 + years experience with superior Tax technical knowledge. Strong relationships within the IRS and a knowledge of the Service's structure. Deep knowledge of the examination and dispute process.
