Hedge Fund Specialist
This is your opportunity to join one of the most prestigious and respected financial services group.
The Hedge Fund Specialist would be part of the administration group that serves as administrator for more than a dozen U.S. and Non-U.S. registered and unregistered fund complexes, consisting of more than 200 separate funds with approximately $350 billion in net assets.
Primary focus will be the administration of U.S. and Non-U.S. unregistered products with responsibility for:
· Oversight and management of third-party vendors (fund accountants and administrators, custodians, auditors).
· Coordination with internal management, legal groups, and third-party vendors for product launches to identify and resolve accounting and reporting issues.
· Managing the production and review of year-end financial statement audits and reports.
Successful candidates should have the following qualifications:
· BA/BS in Accounting or related field (CPA/MBA a plus)
· 3-6 years of investment industry experience
· Working knowledge of hedge fund or private equity fund regulatory and accounting issues, including detailed understanding of partnership accounting and methods of calculating performance based fees and other expense structures.
· General understanding of regulatory and accounting issues for registered products a plus.
