Grower Accounting Clerk

Grower Accounting is the complete process of handling and selling product for outside growers. Grower Accounting Clerk result in a settlement to grow for the proceeds from sales of their product less applicable costs and fees. While Shippers do not take title to outside grower's product, they take possession and often grade, size, pack and perform other processes on the product. Commonly shippers report to growers the result of such processing as a pack out. Shippers typically sell out grower's products in their own name with an agreement to remit proceeds, less charges, to growers at a particular time. This requires accurate product identification from receiving through sale.Growers Accounting Clerk must be tightly integrated into aspects of a packers-shipper's computerized business system such as: Receiving, production, inventory, sales, invoicing and payables.
