Grower Accounting is the complete process of handling and selling product for outside growers. Grower Accounting Clerk result in a settlement to grow for the proceeds from sales of their product less applicable costs and fees. While Shippers do not take title to outside grower's product, they take possession and often grade, size, pack and perform other processes on the product. Commonly shippers report to growers the result of such processing as a pack out.
