Group Coordinator, Studio & Corporate Financial Services
Warner Bros. Studio Facilities is a complete production resource with over thirty different production services and rental departments – all integral components of the historic 110-acre Warner Bros. Studios lot and the adjacent 32-acre Ranch facility. Our production-related services include; sound stages, exterior sets, construction services, grip, set-lighting, property, costumes, production catering, extensive audio post facilities, as well as, many support services that keep the Studio running on a day-to-day basis.
Warner Bros. Studio Facilities, a cornerstone of Warner Bros. is seeking a Group Coordinator to join the Studio and Corporate Financial Services (SCFS) team. This person will provide administrative and clerical assistance to the Financial Reporting, Capital Assets and Accounts Receivable groups. Position is responsible for printing and distributing monthly financial reports, weekly journal batching, scheduling meetings and other administrative duties. Position provides document management support primarily for WBSF, but is also available as a backup for WBEI needs. Document management includes the filing of all monthly journal entries and Account Reconciliations. This position must be extremely detailed and ensure that files are well organized and complete, along with appropriate signatures of review and approval. Position assists the Capital Assets Group with the annual capital budget process, maintains and improves project files, prepares and distributes close memos, as well as other clerical and administrative duties. Position processes New Hire forms and coordinates departmental physical moves. Works on special projects as requested by management.
Successful candidate must be committed to excellence, delivering friendly customer service. Minimum of 2 to 3 years work experience in administrative and clerical positions. Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and 10 key. Ability to type 40+ words a minute. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Ability to interact successfully with all levels of management and customers is essential. Work is fast-paced and must be performed timely and accurately. Ability to prioritize assignments, organize and schedule work efficiently and work well under time constraints. Background is finance or accounting helpful. Ability to work overtime during month end, quarter end, and to complete special projects as required.
