Global Trade Solutions Manager
Global Trade Solutions Manager The global trade specialists of Deloitte Tax LLP ("Deloitte Tax") help companies understand national and international trade requirements and align the trade function with business objectives. Our Global Trade Solutions Group, a national practice within Deloitte Tax's International Tax business, advises U.S. and foreign multinational companies on global import and export strategies and compliance. The Global Trade Solutions Group is composed of attorneys, operations experts, customs brokers, auditors, and trade management professionals who help importers and exporters achieve worldwide compliance and realize efficiencies and advantages in their global supply chain. The group works with clients to assess and potentially automate their international trade management procedures within all major trading regions. We are currently seeking a Manager for our Global Trade Solutions Group. Requirements include: - At least 4 years import and export experience - in-depth knowledge of Customs regulations and U.S. Customs valuation, classification and special trade programs - in depth knowledge of export regulations - strong capabilities in research, writing, communications and presentations. - some management experience required, including business and financial leadership - successful project management experience indicating strong organizational skills as well as data management/analysis experience - experience with trade management software, as well as aptitude in Access, Excel, and/or Visio - experience with SAP, Oracle, and other enterprise resource planning systems helpful - supply chain experience recommended - US Customs Broker License - bachelors degree in business related field required; advance degree preferred - foreign language skills helpful - some travel required About DeloitteDeloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a Swiss Verein, and itsnetwork of member firms, each of which is a legally separate and independent entity.
