Company:  Ajilon Finance Job Category:  Accounting/Finance/Insurance Reference Code:  SN-05102-526880 Location:  CA 92101 Job Status:  Full Time, Employee GRANT/STAFF ACCOUNTANT   Our clients, non-profit organizations is currently seeking to fill a Grant Accountant position   Grant Accountant is responsible for: Preparing reports to the funding organizations and updated the organizations on the money spent. Performing budget modifications of government grants and handling other accounting responsibilities as needed. Maintaining calendars of program grant due dates and deadlines. Updating schedules (including time sheets) used to calculate and record the financial activity of programs using Excel. Maintaining proposal budget worksheets. Drafting proposal budgets for grants. Reviewing grant proposals. Drafting financial reports for grants. Maintaining the organization’s central files containing funding agreements and related documents. Preparing and maintaining materials used for program manager training.
