Responsibilities
· Provide leadership and motivation to a team of 5 to 8 non-exempt Funders, Customer Service Representatives and Loan Processors to reach and exceed goals.
· Monitor and report on functional measures such as processing times, error rates, and staff productivity.
· Analyze metrics, determine root cause to deficiencies in performance and quality, and formulate strategies to improve performance and / or recognize achievements.
· Identify best practices and develop policies and procedures required to achieve best in class operations.
· Ensure consistent implementation of Fireside policy and manage escalated issues in a manner that is in the best interest of the company and business objectives.
· Maintain working knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations applicable to underwriting.
· Establish and maintain relationships with internal employees, managers and departments to facilitate smooth flow of communication, information exchange and problem resolution.
· Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a high level of integrity.
Qualifications
· BA/BS in business, management, finance or related field is desirable.
· 2 years specifically in Banking/Auto Lending industry.
· 2 years in similar function, including staff management, and level of responsibility
· Must have a strong clerical and process management background, including supervising a customer service function.
· Demonstrated success in managing people to achieve performance goals.
· Articulate with excellent communication skills and the ability to work at all levels of the organization and a superior attention to detail.
· Excellent people management skills including resolving conflict, coaching and developing staff, promoting teamwork, and performance management.
· Must be able to effectively develop and maintain relationships internally, as well as with dealerships.
· Assertiveness and energetic approach with strong business acumen and customer service focus is imperative.
· Strong computer skills with a proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
· Bilingual Spanish skills are highly desired.
· Must be able to pass our criminal, credit, drug testing, and background check.
