Facilities Manager

Supervises the facilities of multi-site community health organization. Oversees cost-effective maintenance of clinic facilities, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Identifies savings measures and presents to management.  Supervises, directs, and coordinates the activities of maintenance, security, and housekeeping personnel.  Coordinates work and assists in the management of all other facilities.  Responsible for regulatory compliance by staff and all contracted contractors.  Participates in the preparation and implementation of emergency preparedness and functions as the Safety Officer for all clinics.

 

Requirements:

BA degree.  CA Driver’s license with appropriate insurance coverage.  Contractor’s license preferred.  5-6 years experience as a facilities manager.  3-4 years in management position.  Knowledge of general construction, advanced  electricity, plumbing and landscaping.  Knowledge of various telephone systems and wiring.  Full knowledge of OSHA regulations.  Working knowledge of plant operations and procurement procedure. Good oral and written communication.  Ability to relay instructions clearly.  Will be exposed to confined space, high noise level, hazardous chemicals and materials.  24-hour on-call.
