Estate and Trust Manager

The Tax Professional is responsible for the efficient, accurate, complete and timely preparation of all clients’ tax returns. The primary responsibility of this individual will be in the preparation and review of Trust tax returns. They will also work on estate gift tax and individual returns as well. Advanced technical skills in a variety of tax and accounting areas, along with well-developed and applied management and supervisory skills are required. The Tax Professional makes decisions on all but the most unusual tax situations.

5+ years experience in public accounting, bank, or law firm with experience in estate and trust returns, gift tax returns, and/or high net worth individual tax returns
At least 3 years of progressive tax compliance in fiduciary taxation
Candidates are preferred to have a four-year degree in accounting, finance or a related business field
Professional designation such as CPA, JD or Masters in Tax preferred
Tax research experience
Good organizational and leadership skills
Cooperative work ethic
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proven analytical skills with attention to detail
Experience in conducting tax research and tax preparation in a professional environment.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
