Dog Trainer - DO NOT APPLY - TEST ONLY
Job Purpose:
Trains animals by teaching animals to obey commands, perform tricks; compete in shows, or perform in the entertainment media.
Duties:
* Evaluates animals by determining temperament, ability, and aptitude for training.
* Develops desired behaviors by conducting training programs.
* Shows animals by presenting them in shows.
* Rehearses entertainment animals by applying motion picture or video script to training.
* Helps entertainment animals perform by cueing or signaling animal during performance.
* Updates animal training job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
* Enhances animal training reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
