Job Description Cabrillo is seeking a manager to lead an expansion of our emerging business valuation practice. Our business valuation team performs valuations of business entities, intellectual property, intangible assets, common and preferred stock, options, warrants, and other derivative products and securities. Primary responsibilities will include:
Develop, plan and lead expansion of valuation practice, which currently focuses on 409a/123r work. Lead business development and marketing efforts. Recruit, supervise and mentor professional staff while maintaining high levels of staff utilization. Manage positive and productive relationships with clients and retain full responsibility for quality control and accuracy of client deliverables. Perform complete analysis of accounting, finance, economic issues in the context of business enterprise and intangible asset valuation; provide recommendations where applicable. Prepare and execute detailed work plans Remain up to date on current business and economic developments, trends and standards relevant to business valuation issues. Minimal travel required
Qualifications Candidates should have the following qualifications: Integrity and commitment to providing high quality, un-biased and objective advice to clients. Self motivated and entrepreneurial team player able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Appropriate professional designations such as ABV, ASA/AM, CVA/AVA, CBA/MCBA, CPA and/or CFA. Strength in clientele development8+ years business valuation and intangible asset valuation experience at a valuation, consulting, or accounting firm (preferably a regional or national firm). Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting from an accredited college/university is required. Master's degree in business, finance, or accounting is a plus.
Compensation Competitive with base salary, 401k, health, bonus and equity participation.
