Direct Hire Accounts Payable Specialist

Landmark Healthcare is currently recruiting for a Full Time Accounts Payable Specialist. This is an excellent Direct Hire opportunity for a candidate who is team player wanting to work in a fast-paced, team environment and possessing good internal customer service skills and flexibility. This position requires a minimum 3 years experience as well as an AA in accounting. This position administers all aspects of claims payment processing for multiple lines of business using Landmark's MHC system. In addition, the employee processes Accounts Payable including posting and reporting as well as weekly preparation and posting of payments to vendors. Duties also include supporting customer service inquiries/requests by providing remittance advices, processing claims reversal/void requests, administering IRS garnishment levies within MHC claims system and completing monthly close process in MHC and weekly claims expense journal entries. You will also need to prepare invoices for fee-based customers and prepare monthly revenue entries in the general ledger and monthly revenue reports as well as enter invoices into Great Plains or Bank of Sacramento bill-pay systems and post expenses to general ledger.Ability to execute a varied menu of job tasks in compressed time frames and to work closely with peers in a small-department environment, providing excellent service to other departments throughout the company is a must.
