DIRECTOR OF ACCOUNTING POLICY

WELL KNOWN COMPANY IN TYSON'S CORNER, VA, IS SEARCHING FOR A DIRECTOR OF ACCOUNTING POLICY (INTERNATIONAL HEADQUARTERS).Reporting to the Senior Director, Accounting Policy, the Director, Accounting Policy will provide decision support on business transactions by identifying and addressing accounting and reporting issues. The Director, Accounting Policy will be responsible for the preparation of the earnings per share and return on invested capital analyses for potential transactions, including the supervision of a financial analyst. The Director, Accounting Policy will also be responsible for assisting in the interpretation of accounting policies and practices and the application of those policies and practices. The Director, Accounting Policy will play a critical role in cross functional teams in areas including mergers and acquisitions, real estate sales and leases and joint venture structuring.
