Cost Accountant / Call 562-809-1419Description: Are you an experienced CPA? We are looking for a seasoned Cost Accountant who can prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports. Responsibilities include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. Reports organizations finances to management, and offers suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts. Position relies on various levels of judgment and experience to plan and accomplish goals. Candidate will perform a variety of tasks. Develop and present monthly Export Pro Forma financial statement and annual Export costing and pricing workbooks. Works under general supervision or may lead and direct the work of others; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Requirements: Must be proficient in Excel, Word and Accounting software (preferably Peoplesoft). Must have a good understanding of general ledger systems with an emphasis in cost accounting. Accounting degree required. CPA or equivalent experience required with background in cost accounting preferred.
