We currently have the following opportunity:
Cost Accountant
In this role you will estimate labor and material costs of manufacturing and engineering. Responsible for collecting data, allocating costs, and preparing reports that maintain the company's cost accounting system. Must ensures that costs are accurately allocated according to established procedures set forth by the company. You will gather historical cost data on activities such as as material purchases, labor equipment depreciation, operating expenses etc. The Cost Accountant will investigate cost structures for new and existing areas of the company. Creates Cost Models for cost estimating elements. May prepare existing or projected profitability analysis.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics, 5+ years experience in cost accounting in a manufacturing environment. JDE strongly desired.
