Controller/Director

In response to market demand for our services, we are seeking Controllers/VPs/Directors who want to leverage their experience within a variety of high-level engagements, exercise greater control over their careers, be mentored by Tatum CFO Partners with opportunities for professional growth, and be part of a team of professionals who support their efforts. This senior level professional will provide hands-on project-based services on behalf of Tatum within various local and national companies.


A successful candidate will typically possess many or most of the following:

• 5-10 years of controllership within companies with revenues of $30 million or more
• Undergraduate degree
• GAAP reporting, internal controls, financial systems, cost accounting, audit, management of staff level employees
• Interface with all levels of management
• Current licensed CPA
• Direct report to CFO
• Tax and audit processes
• Interaction with auditors, bankers and outside counsel
• Evaluation and re-design of financial systems
• Assessment of financial statements
• Oversight of treasury function
• Knowledge of SEC requirements, preparation of public filings, internal controls
• Sarbanes Oxley documentation, assessment and certifications
• ERP systems
• Budget development (department, capital, consolidated, expense)
• Established professional network, with desire and ability to market Tatum’s services to clients and referral sources
