Dynamic Global Technology Solutions Government Contractor Headquartered in Rockville, MD is looking for a Compliance Specialist Compliance SpecialistPosition Responsibilities: - Act as a key interface with the Government (i.e., DCMA/DCAA) regarding Government compliance and support related matters. - Assist in the preparation of required regulatory submissions within the timeframe mandated by the Government, such as the annual incurred cost submission, forward pricing rates, Disclosure Statement, etc. - Provide audit support to DCAA; analyze accounting records and processes and make recommendations for control/process improvements based upon audit results. - Identify and solve problems proactively; exercise a high degree of initiative in the performance of assigned responsibilities. - Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business - Minimum of 2 years of work experience in Government finance/accounting or internal/external audit commensurate with position responsibilities - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Strong analytical and problem solving skills - Ability to independently complete multiple time-sensitive tasks - Candidate must possess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel- High degree of knowledge and expertise in the CAS/FAR and financial system adequacy criteria; particularly in the areas of: - Cost accounting practice changes - Disclosure Statement requirements - FAR Part 31 cost principles - Incurred cost submission and forward pricing rate development  For immediate consideration, please send your resume in MS Word format directly to: valerienajar@mergisgroup.com   Built on more than 30 years of expertise, The Mergis Group is a specialty recruiting firm committed to helping professionals make the best career choices.
