Commission Analyst
Position summary: The Spring Communications Commission Analyst is required to diligently execute all duties described below. The position emphasizes organization and accounting skills, which are critical to ensure proper revenue recognition and collection of all commission amounts due to the Company.
Core objective: To guarantee all commission due to the Company is collected through accurate reconciliation, reporting and the collections process
Position responsibilities:
· Reconcile features on monthly Carrier commission statement to Retail iQ reports.
· Audit all un-reconciled items and submit to carrier for dispute, if necessary.
· Research all feature variances in POS on a weekly basis.
· Prepare weekly feature detail report from Carrier for audit use.
· Verify feature code, feature family, activation date, and commission codes are accurate on each un-reconciled transaction in carrier’s POS system
· Audit feature transactions entered into Retail IQ to determine percentage of potential uncollected for each location.
· Disperse a POS Feature Discrepancy Report to the Utah and Colorado Markets on a weekly basis to outline features that are rung out in Retail iQ that need correcting to ensure Spring receives proper payment.
· Review and return all feature discrepancies in Retail IQ software for employee payroll deductions.
· Research and submit feature chargeback disputes on a monthly basis.
· Prepare summary of feature chargeback analysis on a monthly basis.
