This position will be located in Golden, CO.Position Summary: Responsible for reviewing and expediting collection of delinquent accounts. Essential Functions: *Prepares and mails form collection letters to accounts. *Confers with customer by telephone in attempt to determine reason for overdue payment, reviewing terms of sales, service or credit contract with customer. *Answers written and phone inquiries on past due accounts and arranges for full payment or a schedule of installments. *Records information about financial status of customer and status of collection efforts. *May grant extensions of credit. *Refers difficult collections to management for review. *May sort and file correspondence. *Willingly accepts responsibility of sharing skills and knowledge; trains other employees. *Must possess the ability to use the computer system for accounting functions. *Understands and meets or exceeds quality standards; seeks to minimize error rate. *Participates in continuous improvement efforts. Supports and helps to implement new ideas. *Must maintain acceptable level of performance. *Utilizes excellent customer service skills. *Performs detail-oriented tasks utilizing intermediate language and math skills.
