Chief Operating Officer

Solely owned, Seattle-based Asset Management Company, looking for a savvy financial and business leader.  We are a unique and multi-faceted boutique real estate company, specializing in the acquisition, development and management of commercial properties.  Additionally, there are investments in hotels, restaurants, farming interests, as well as an FAA 135 Jet Charter company.

 

As COO, the candidate would work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial office environment, serving as the primary liaison between the owner and all third party financial, banking, legal, client and vendor relationships.  The expectation is that the candidate can successfully manage, lead and mentor an internal team of 5 people.

 

Key Management and Oversight Responsibilities Include: Cash Management: Preservation of capital, tax planning & strategies, and rate of return on assets – measured monthly.

  Financial Management: Annual business unit planning & budgeting.  Strong financial & accounting analysis and management.

  Business Management: Help to develop and maintain a Management by Objective (MBO) report system.  Develop and implement business plans & strategies for business entities.  Responsible for operational performance/P&L’s for business entities.  Increase ownership net worth. 

  Personnel Management: People and process management, providing organizational development and management by objective.  Project Management oversight and accountability.

 

Business Entities include: Commercial Real Estate Development and Property Management Personal Wealth Management Private aviation and charter Multiple other operational investments and cash/tax management

 

 

Qualification Requirements:

Finance and/or Accounting degree necessary.

5+ years of comparable financial management experience necessary. 

5+ years of successful team management experience necessary.

Prior knowledge and experience with real estate transactions necessary.
