Chargeback Support Analyst Call 407-862-0090Description: Position serves as the in-house expert on debit card rules and regulations for the processing of chargebacks for Visa and MasterCard. this position will:Answer phone calls from cardholders and financial institutions and provide in-house expertise for the processing of retrieval requests, chargebacks and representments for Visa and MasterCard debit card transactions.· Analyze and interpret Visa and MasterCard regulations for debit card transaction disputes. · Make independent decisions determining the process to be followed for the fulfillment of those regulations for the various types of dispute scenarios. · Assess documentation received from cardholder and/or FI, determine applicable chargeback reason code and process item via the system. · Respond to a daily queue of disputes which consists of managing the complete chargeback cycle from the initial phone call or fax from the cardholder or financial institution to the resolution of the transaction dispute. · Update the financial institutions on the status of their disputes and recommend options that may be available to their cardholders, based on the Visa and MasterCard regulations. Requirements: Requires knowledge of debit/credit card exception processing. · Solid analytical skills with the ability to solve problems independently and with a sense of urgency required. · Must possess strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. · Excellent organizational and time management skills are necessary. · Requires an aptitude to handle multiple activities or work in a multitasking environment.
