About the Position:
We are seeking a professional CPA Quality Control professional with extensive experience in accounting and auditing to assist in the quality control function of our accounting firm. In this role you will assure compliance with professional and firm standards. The ideal candidate will be a CPA with 6-10 years public accounting experience (Big 4 a Plus) including SEC reporting expertise with similar responsibilities. Strong technical and communication skills are required.

You need previous experience in reviewing work papers, research of complex accounting and auditing issues, assisting with internal and external peer review and extensive knowledge with applicable standards for GAAP, GAAS and SEC reporting requirements is required. Previous SEC experience is preferred.

Other Job Duties:
· Monitoring and insuring compliance with FASB, SAS, and AICPA pronouncements
· Monitoring and controlling audit and work paper standards
· Responsibility and control of engagement letters
· Serving as a secondary source for technical research
· Support inspection process (internal and external)
 
Location:
This position is located in Walnut, CA. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
