Our client is a Fortune 500 Manufacturer looking for a highly qualified candidate to lead the Finance organization for a division of its Connecticut based business. If you are looking to work with senior level management to add value to the accounting, finance, and operations of a business please consider this opportunity.
Area of Expertise:
Planning, forecasting and comparison of financial activity. Lead in the development of financial tools to summarize and measure status, evaluation of business plans, and identification of variances and predict results.

Level of Responsibility:
Provides strategic direction for financial and operational activities, projects, and programs to all levels of management.Contributes to the company and the industry by advancing the level of finance knowledge within the organization.Provides cross-functional guidance and expertiseSupervise a professional staff and provide career direction and support in guiding group to achieve maximum efficiency.
Department Mission:
In addition, the selected candidate will be a leader and an impacting manager with experience in successful change management, managing to goals and objectives, talent assessment and team building and must be willing to immerse her or himself in the details, when appropriate.
Provide accurate financial data in support of strategic initiatives; including cost actions, product development, and mergers and acquisitions. Responsible for planning and analysis required for detailed performance assessments, strategic planning, and business planning and accurate and timely forecasts.

Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance.7 plus years of progressive accounting/finance experience. The successful candidate should have a FP&A leadership background in a manufacturing environment. Advanced degree or CPA preferred.Strong computer skills for presentation and analysis of data.Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively interact with personnel at all levels of the company.Project management skills.Supervisory/mentor experience.Prior ERP implementation experience would be helpful.
