Billing clerk needed ASAP

CITY/STATE: Job location not providedPOSITION TYPE: Full Time, EmployeeJOB CATEGORY: Accounting/Finance/Insurance Billing clerk needed ASAP     Seeking a proactive, enthusiastic, analytical, multi-task oriented individual for our Transportation Billing department.  Position will report directly to Transportation Billing Supervisor.  Duties include transportation billing and various data entries.  Maintain and reconcile missing doc reports, duties also include but not limited to filing and scanning proof of deliveries, lumper receipts, etc. Assist in the preparation of mailing invoices and preparing weekly summary reports. Assist with documenting Accounting Department standard operating procedures. Candidate must possess knowledge in transportation accounting and have a minimum of 1 year of accounting related experience.  This individual must have a clear understanding and working knowledge of transportation accounting to include but not limited to: Third Party Logistics, A/R, A/P, and tariff pages, account reconcilement, etc.  About Ledgent Ledgent is a full service accounting and finance placement firm offering temporary, temporary-to-hire and direct hire staffing services.
